Howdy y’all!
Ok, so this weekend, some of my AMAZING friends are coming to Houston this weekend to celebrate 3 of our birthdays, and I am SO excited about it that I felt the need to make them fat bake them some yummy treats! Afterall, this is a TRIPLE BIRTHDAY weekend, and should, therefore, be celebrated appropriately: with triple the sweets! o because of the madness that was my kitchen yesterday, I decided the name the night (appropriately, I think) BAKE FEST 2011. For those of you who are friends wih me on facebook, you might have already seen this picture. For those who are not, prepare yourselves, it’s a bit much…
Ingredients for BAKE FEST 2011
This is ALMOST all of the ingredients used (eggs & cinnamon not pictured), and some not in their full quantities… yikers. So needless to say, my kitchen was a CRAZY place to be yesterday evening! And also a very sweet place… quite literally. By the end of this process, at about midnight, I was so high on sugar that I probably could have (and should have) run 10 miles. I didn’t, because I am a working woman, and I prefer not to sleep on the job, but hey, I know it was possible!
Throughout this crazy night, I made 3 new recipes, 4 old favorites, and COVERED my kitchen in sugar and chocolate. This is what I consider a SUCCESS!
So be on the lookout for new recipes, just most likely not until Sunday, because I will be partying it up with my girls this weekend! I would post some pictures of the process/finished goods, but again, I had to go to bed last night, and didn’t have time to put them on my computer! But I promise there are LOTS of pictures to come along with the recipes!

Maybe you do, Maybe you don’t, but one of my all-time FAVORITE shows is Top Chef, & Top Chef: Just Desserts is premiering THIS Wednesday, and I think since you’re a baker would love this show. Have you ever heard of it?
Oh gosh, you sure do have good taste!!! I like Top Chef, and I LOVE the Just Desserts version! I will definitely be watching on Wednesday 🙂
